If a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound? Yes it does.
This is probably the easiest of my theories to explain. Sound is created
by waves in the air. The waves are created through various ways,
(e.g. objects hitting each other). This is why when the tree hits
the ground, sound waves are created. Vibrations are then created as the waves
hit other trees, the grounds, etc. Those vibrations are sound.
Regardless of whether anyone is around to hear it doesn’t affect the vibrations
from being formed. So if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around
to hear it, it still makes a sound. It's just no one hears it.
