AS TOLD BY DAVID NINOMIYA
My family and I went to California one year, when we were children. By the time our flirt arrived, and we landed, it must have been about midnight, and we were very unfamiliar with the area. We managed to find this restaurant, and our whole family, about 8 of us sat down to eat. The waiters were very friendly, and handed us our menus.
At this point, my dad noticed the prices of the meals, and was a bit shocked. They were much more than we expected, and rather than make a big fuss about it, he did the sensible thing. He got up, and walked out of the restaurant without saying a word. Of course we all followed him out and had dinner at a nearby Jack in the Box.
