CHEMISTRY CLASS STORY

AS TOLD BY DAVID NINOMIYA

Chemistry has never been my strong suit, but I did have an awesome chemistry teacher in my Junior year of high school.  My teacher, Ms. Mitchell, taught and explained very thoroughly one of, if on the most complicated subject I have ever had in high school.  AP Chemistry.  She was a great teacher, and always had jokes to tell.

One day, while she was doing her teaching thing, she just stomped on the ground.  The class had no idea what she was doing or why she did it.  She just smiled at all of us, and as if answering our perplexed looks, she said "it was a roach".  After a brief pause, and checking to make sure the roach was dead, she looked up at us again, with another smile, and said "natural selection".
